Mauritania- The General Confederation of Mauritanian Workers (CGTM) Condemned the break into the organizations headquarters by a group of unidentified assailants, shortly after the end of the official working time during the day, where they took the computer central unit from the secretariat Office, which indicate that they want to see the Organization work, and they also been trying to break into of the General Secretary office.
A statement issued by the organization said: We condemn any attempt to silence the organization, and we demand relevant authorities to open an immediate investigation into the Confederate Office break in and publish the investigation results as a prelude to bring those involved in this process to justice.
The statement confirmed that the organization is working under applicable laws in the country, and has nothing to hide, but will not be subject to blackmail and desperate attempts to stop us from embracing workers issues and defend them eith rigor and patience.
