Morocco – The employees of Atento Morocco arranged a sit-in outside the headquarters of the company in Casablanca, to protest against the administration for avoiding legal obligations towards them.
The Moroccan Labour Union said that the strike came after they have exhausted all efforts to make the companys management respond to their demands.
Union office said in a statement that the company insists on promoting false information among employees in order to grow more tension between them and the union office, which strongly deplores the escalation of this trend taken by the company.
Union Office considers that the strikecame to put an end to the assaults that affect the employees, and ask all the responsible authorities to sit down with the director of the company to discuss the demands and to contain the repercussions of this crisis and to respect the Labour Law, and raise the wages as approved by the law, and prevent the company to any measure that would divide the human resources in order to hit the professional and social stability.
