Jordan – More than 600 employees from Aqaba Container Terminal gathered today to protest against the company’s management who ignored their demands of overtime for extra working hours they did in the holy month of Ramadan and not commit to the working hours set by the government, or even give them overtime compensation.
Ministry of labour asked the company to commit to working hours set in Ramadan, and that’s why employees gone on strike and recommended Boycott all cultural, social and sports activities of the company to deliver a message interpreted as a message of anger from employees. Employees will continue their gathering to discuss their situation.
