Kuwait – A well-informed government sources have confirmed that the Kuwaiti Civil Service Commission are to reduce the monthly housing allowance for expatriate teachers from 150 dinars to 60 dinars. The sources added that the decision immediately came into effect as of yesterday. The source explained that this cut was down to the government’s policy of downsizing the expenditure of the state budget.
It is important to clarify that the female teachers housing allowance became 150 after a court ruling appeal.
