مصر: الأمن يمنع مؤتمر العمال بـالصحفيين

EGYPT— Labor leaderships and unionists decided to transfer their planned conference from the Press Association to the Centre for Trade Union and Workers Services after the closure of the streets that lead to the association premises by the security forces.

Unionists have previously announced that they will organise a sit-in at the association’s site to express their dissatisfaction about the workers’ conditions, especially this year and renew their calls for better rights.

However, security forces closed all roads that lead to the association’s site.

Union Freedoms Coalition condemned this act noting that authorities have prevented workers from observing their day.
