The main trade union organisations are also opposed to the increase in the percentage of employee contributions, the objective of which is to remedy the deficit of the pension funds, as well as to the adoption of a unified ceiling for the basic salary equal to twice the minimum wage, regardless of the amount of salary that the retiree received during his or her public or private service.
It is worth noting that these measures, studied by the Committee, stem from a report drawn up by a consultancy firm at the request of the Moroccan government.
