It is worth noting that secondary school teachers from all regions of the country have suspended classes entirely since the beginning of the current month to protest against the failure to meet their demands for salaries and compensation. This protest movement led to the closure of several high schools in the regions of Baalbek-Hermel, Tripoli, Mount Lebanon, South Lebanon, and Beirut.
