In a statement, the EDL workers’ syndicate announced that after negotiations between the employees’ representatives and the concerned departments, it has been decided to lift the strike after all banks committed to release the salaries in full. The syndicate added that the authorities have committed to implement the national recovery plan in its part dealing with the salaries and benefits of EDL employees.
