A spokesman for the Pharmacists Syndicate, Muhammad Sherkhan, told Alsumaria News that the increase in the number of pharmacists, which currently stands at 41,000, will have negative consequences on the profession.
He added that the Syndicate alerted the Ministries of Health and Education of the necessity of planning, stressing that the Ministry of Health’s institutions will not be able to appoint all graduate pharmacists two years from now due to the large number of employees in the public and private sectors, which will leave many in doubt about their future.
