The union announced its rejection of the bill regulating higher education and scientific research, saying that the text aims to privatize teaching, limit the promotions of teachers-researchers, and reduce their representation in university structures.
The protesters also denounced the unilateral approach of the ministry in the elaboration of its projects and recalled that the reform of the public university requires consultation and dialogue.
