In a statement, the syndicate denounced the constant delays in payment, explaining that they are mainly due to a lack of liquidity caused by the service companies.
Before calling for a strike, the syndicate addressed the General Labour Union and the director-general of EDL to call for the payment of all employees and for all banks to pay salaries in cash to all employees.
The syndicate also pointed out that the ministry and the government have not ensured that the company’s administration has properly implemented the recovery plan. The recovery plan included a general salary increase.
