The syndicate’s council said the complaint was filed after a protest in the company to denounce the dismissal of a union member and the suspension of others. The administration considered that this protest “damaged its reputation” and filed a complaint against the protesters.
The syndicate noted that the protest aimed to make demands, which is allowed by the laws in force in Bahrain.
It is worth noting that the Labour Arbitration Court has already issued a verdict in favour of the syndicate in the context of the complaint filed against the suspension of all benefits that were part of the workers’ gains.
