He, also, issued an order to form a committee to review the balances and accounts of these federations inside and outside of Sudan. The committee is chaired by the Labour Organizations Officer at the Ministry of Justice. The statement added that the committee will, in turn, form committees to run trade unions, professional federations, and the Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation until their general assemblies are held.
This decision comes in light of a severe economic crisis. Currently, since the civil government was dissolved by the President of the Sovereignty Council in October 2021, protests have been taking place.
