In this context, the employees have launched a new initiative consisting of selling some products at the site of their sit-in. In posts published on social networks, the protesters explained that this sale aims to raise public awareness of their crisis.
It is worth noting that a meeting between the Minister of Labour, trade union representatives of the employees, and members of the Democratic Confederation of Labour (CDT) in Meknes was organised on 27 October to reeview the situation of the workers of the company, which has ceased its activities for more than a year without the issue of salaries, social security, health insurance and allowances having been resolved.
