=The five trade unions, namely the National Federation of Education of the Moroccan Workers’ Union (UMT), the National Syndicate of Education of the Democratic Confederation of Labour (CDT), the Free Federation of Education, of the General Federation of Workers in Morocco, the National Federation of Education (FNE), and the National Union of Education of the Democratic Federation of Labour (FDT), issued a joint statement in which they also demanded a basic law within the framework of the public service that guarantees a unified and fair career path for all workers in the education and training sector.
Their demands, also, include salary increases and the permanent recruitment of contractual teachers.
