The syndicate announced a strike to denounce the government’s failure to implement previous agreements, including the implementation of the agreement to raise the nature of work premium for general practitioners doctors to 200%, similar to the rest of the doctors, instead of 150%.
The syndicate, also, announced its rejection of all kinds of arbitrary decisions against doctors, and called for cancelling them. The syndicate also demanded the confirmation of doctors on the contracts of the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program.
Eventually, they demanded an increase in the number of doctors on the specialization program and doctors of emergency departments due to their severe shortage.
