The participants in the conference approved the future work plan of ATUC, which includes 25 initiatives to strengthen trade union work in the Arab region, followed up from the recommendations of the ninth session of the general council of the Federation, that took place on December 2021.
The initiatives include the creation of the “Equality for Women, Youth, and Migrant Affairs” forum, the completion of the Tawq project to combat violence against women, the establishment of the Trade Union of Arab Pensioners, and the dissemination of the experience of the Migrant Workers Support Centre.
