Migrants die of hunger and thirst in their way to European shores via the Mediterranean

As the bodies of the seven migrants arrived at the port in Sicily, the NGO Alarm Phone announced that other 250 migrants are stranded in Malta’s territorial waters on a boat that left Lebanon a week ago. The NGO said the migrants have been without “food and water for two days.”
