This strike comes after a number of young men in the area were attacked by two buses transporting workers.
The workers’ syndicate explained that the strike came after the Gafsa Phosphate Company refused to provide other buses to transport the workers in light of the repeated attacks on them, warning at the same time that there are many shortcomings due to the absence of a general manager of the company.
