The syndicate pointed out that “the employers’ profits have increased, like other companies and factories producing in the private sector” and accused them of practicing “the most heinous types of exploitation… and contribution to the impoverishment and starvation of workers, people with limited income, and other groups.”
The syndicate urged workers to file complaints for this purpose to the National Federation of Employees’ and Workers’ Unions in Lebanon (FENASOL) in Beirut. It also called on the inspection body in the Social Security Fund to seek to register Lebanese workers whose employers refuse to register them.
