The National Federation of Employees’ and Workers’ Unions in Lebanon (FENASOL), the Popular Front for Trade Union Consultation, and the Committee for the Defence of Tenants’ Rights denounced the government’s inability to find a solution to the financial and economic crisis that is affecting wage earners, pensioners, and all citizens.
Thousands of state employees have been on strike for two months because of the devaluation of their salaries, resulting from the economic collapse of Lebanon, which is experiencing one of the worst economic crises in the modern world.
