On July 10, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Aden Refinery Administration and the trade union, to end the strike and return all employees to their work.
In the memorandum of understanding, the administration expressed its intention to lift punitive measures against workers and trade unions as soon as the union announced the suspension of the strike in preparation for negotiating labour demands.
It also expressed its commitment to treat employees in hospitals abroad based on the decision of the medical committee.
