The representative of the transporters’ union said that the administration has given the possibility to the transporters to leave voluntarily by compensating them with one million two hundred thousand ouguiyas, therefore only 520 people out of the two thousand who work at the port will be permanently recruited. The trade union official added that the transporters refuse the voluntary departure with compensation.
