The demands of the employees are to increase salaries in proportion to the cost of living in light of the economic crisis in the country and the collapse of the value of the Lebanese pound, in addition to obtaining transportation allowance and disbursing the entitlements of the employees who participated in the elections last month.
The Lebanese Minister of Finance stated that negotiations are still underway to urge protestors to return to work.
