The protesters explained that they are obliged to stay in Ceuta because they have no guarantee that they will be able to find their jobs if they return to Morocco to renew their expired documents.
In a media statement, the spokesperson for Moroccan workers in Ceuta called for priority to be given to workers with expired passports and national identity cards so that they can renew them and apply for a visa at the Spanish consulate in Tetouan.
