The security authorities stated that the detainee lures foreign workers to leave the homes in which they work, promises them more profits, and then ‘sells’ them elsewhere. After a complaint filed by three people, the person accused was arrested in Zayouna, east of Baghdad.
Earlier in the day, security forces in Baghdad arrested a network of 18 people (men and women) involved in human trafficking in the Karrada district, Baghdad.
