Jordan: New collective agreement in the beauty and hairdressing sector

The cost of the agreement, which aims to protect the workers’ rights and regulate the sector, is about 1,300 million dinars per year. Signed by the presidents of the two unions in the presence of the director of labour relations at the Ministry of Labour, the agreement provides for the settlement of professional disputes through dialogue, giving priority to Jordanians in hiring and organising regular professional tests.
