On 24 March, the head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, issued a circular through which he called on all departments to rationalise their expenditure in view of the preparation of the budget for the next three years (2023-2025).
The circular focused in particular on the rationalisation of expenses related to the management of the administration, equipment purchases and various regular expenses in order to improve the efficiency of state interventions while preserving the balance of public finances.
