This decision was taken after the efforts undertaken by the General Labour Union which allowed to fix an exceptional meeting for April 20 to discuss the employees’ demands.
The strike was decided after the board of directors refused to increase the salaries of the employees and to apply the decree number 8838 concerning the payment of a temporary social aid for all public sector workers. This aid is worth half a monthly salary, and covers the period from 1 January 2022 until the date of approval of the state budget.
