The workers’ trade union committee stated that the company’s administration has been late for two years in the payment of workers’ salaries despite their continued activity, causing a state of instability for workers.
Several protestors stated to TV channels that they are threatened with dismissal, and that the company may be liquidated, denouncing the partnership with the private shareholders in the company’s capital, along with the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Industry. The protestors called the ministries to intervene with a solution.
