A session was previously held at the governorate headquarters to consider the notice of the strike of the employees of the Tunisian Company for the Supply of Water in the region, and in view of the failure to reach an agreement, the trade union decided to launch a strike.
The General Water Federation of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) expressed its absolute support for the strike to defence the workers’ rights.
