The strike comes after the government and the Ministry of Finance’s refusal to include the nature of work for nurses, like other medical professions.
The Ministry of Health called on the nurses to end the strike and return to work, after an urgent ruling was issued on March 29 by the Ramallah Administrative Court. The syndicate warned the Ministry of Health of the consequences of taking any action against the protestors, stressing that this would be followed by a more severe measure.
