The protestors marched in the city of Atbara in the state of the River Nile in northern Sudan and closed the main bridge where they denounced the authorities’ indifference to their demands.
The protest was preceded by another demonstration organized by workers on March 12 for the same purpose in the city which includes the largest labour gathering in the country and consisted mainly of railway workers.
