Members of the Committee expressed their concern about the increase of suicide rates among workers who are dealing with the consequences of the economic crisis and the indifference of employers.
Participants in the meeting called on employers to assume their responsibility in the face of this crisis. They, also, addressed the absence of any legal framework that obliges them to honor the agreements they sign with the employees. The Committee members called on the concerned authorities to include this issue in the new labor law.
