The majority of the complaints (355) were filed by workers in the domestic sector, 74 in the pharmaceutical sector, 72 in the pastry and bakery sector, 67 in the construction sector, 50 in the industrial sector, while the remaining 361 complaints came from different sectors.
524 workers complained about total or partial wage freezes, 310 alerted about violations of overtime payment rules, 272 foreign workers complained about their employers confiscating their passports while 269 reported being deprived of vacations and compensation.
Tamkeen also received 163 complaints about reporting to social security, 103 complaints about mass dismissals, and 95 complaints about mistreatment.
