It is worth noting that the municipality of Gabes has been in an open sit-in since December 27, 2021 which led to the accumulation of waste in the city and the stoppage of administrative services.
The trade union refuses to deal with the mayor of Gabes, considering that he is “the main responsible for the administrative mismanagement and social tensions existing in the institution.”
