The General Union of Petroleum and Chemical Workers and the administration of As-Samra Waste water treatment plant have reached an agreement.
The agreement provided that all workers will be given an increase (employment and support grant) of 20 dinars as of the date of the 1/1/2022. In the agreement, the company committed to developing an incentive system for employees who were close to retirement according to special criteria. The company will also review the annual remuneration system.
The agreement was signed on 20 January under the auspices of the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions (GFJTU) and the Jordanian Ministry of Labour.
