The General Federation of Secondary Education issued a statement calling for the suspension of classes for a provisional period and with specific dates determined by the Scientific Committee for the fight against COVID-19.
The federation also called on the authorities to rearrange the remaining phases of the school year, denouncing the exposure of professionals in the sector to the risk of the Omicron variant by the Ministry of Education.
