The General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU) held a press conference on Saturday, 8 January 2021, in which it denounced the attempts to privatise the companies and factories under the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.
In a statement, GFTU denounced the punitive measures taken against trade unionists who demand their rights and oppose the processes of mass dismissals and privatisation of profitable enterprises, calling for the cancellation of the sanctions.
GFTU called on the workers to oppose measures that disregard their interests and infringe on their rights.
