Dismissed construction workers organised a protest on 4 January in the headquarters of the Regional Labour Union in Sidi Bouzid.
The protesters worked in forestry areas and in the administrations of the regional delegation of agricultural development in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid.
They stated that their dismissal was not subject to any official decision at the regional or central level and considered it an arbitrary measure that violates their rights.
