After a 120-day of not working, workers at the Ar Rashadiyya plant of the Lafarge cement company have decided to end their strike and return to work after the failure of negotiations with the administration on the creation of a new fair collective work.
Citing the plant’s union committee, the Jordanian Labour Observatory reported that the strike was called to protest against the reorganisation plan that aimed to send about 80 workers into early retirement.
Workers decided to file a complaint with the Ministry of Labour and the courts.
