The Jordanian Labour Observatory is inspecting the death of a Pakistani family, on December 20, after a huge fire broke out in their tent in Karameh, in Al-Balqa. These incidents have occurred many times in tents and places where migrants live.
Migrant workers in Jordan witness violations of their rights, including not receiving their salaries, stressful working conditions, detention of freedom, long working hours, denial of weekly and annual leave, delays in paying their salaries, and inappropriate health and safety measures in their workplace.
