Morocco: 500 workers of a construction company did not receive their salaries since 2017

Around 500 workers in a construction company are protesting to call for the payment of their salaries that have been suspended since 2017.

The workers said that they have not received any compensation for their holidays and that they have not been covered by social security since 2019, although it is compulsory. The workers also denounce the absence of protective tools in the workplace.

The workers also revealed that several agreements have been concluded without helping to change the situation and called on the authorities to intervene in order to find a solution.
