Workers of Soviva hotel in El Kantaoui, Sousse, announced threaten to go on strike on December 11, to protest against the three months delay of their payment.
According to the newspaper Al-Shaab News, which is affiliated with the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT), the workers have been demanding their salaries from September and October.
The protestors demand a production grant for the first semester of 2021, uniforms, and knowing the hotel’s future after months of closure due to the pandemic.
