On December 02, sanitation workers in Nador protested against the delay in their payment, their working conditions, and their deprivation of electricity and health care.
Their demands include increasing the salaries of workers and guards, 13th month pay, changing trucks with better equipment, changing the uniform, and providing offices for guards and transportation for working at night.
As their demands have been previously ignored by the authorities, representatives, and trade unions in the past, the workers claimed that their protest is a warning.
It is worth noting that Morocco has witnessed many protests by sanitation workers in the current year.
