Workers of the Jordan Phosphate Company cancelled their strike after the administration signed a new agreement with the trade union and pensioners on 24 October.
The trade union issued a press release announcing that it was decided, among other things, to maintain the health insurance system in its current formula until the end of 2022, giving a one-year delay for the implementation of the reimbursement system for the post-retirement period and facilitating access to health care for the company’s workers.
