Workers at the phosphate mine in the Meknassy region, in Sidi Bouzid, protested and blocked the national road between Gafsa and Sfax in front of phosphate trucks, to protest against ignoring their demands including regularizing their professional status, and the non-payment of their salaries. The workers, also, blocked 5 trucks loaded with phosphate coming from the mining basin.
