Workers in the Ministry of Social Affairs launched a strike for the second time this week, to protest against the work schedule.
The protestors in the Family Welfare Department in the Ahmadi Governorate demanded that working hours should be reduced to avoid transportation problems. They, also, demanded cancelling the order of working on weekends issued to them verbally.
Workers in various of departments of the ministry announced their intention to have a daily two-hour strike, starting on October 17, to support their demands.
