Daily-wage workers of Electricité du Liban (EDL) held a protest at the Jiyeh thermal plant, denouncing the deterioration of their economic and social situation.
The protesters, some of whom have been working for EDL for more than 20 years, called for a salary increase so that they can cope with the economic crisis and the rising prices of products and fuel in Lebanon.
