Kuwaiti newspapers reported that the Civil Service Bureau in Kuwait has allocated 2,100 jobs in schools through lump sum contracts and appointment under the second contract in order to fill the shortage of workers in schools and departments affiliated with the Ministry of Education.
This measure, also, aims at avoiding strikes caused by companies not paying the workers’ salaries.
The Ministry of Education in Kuwait is, therefore, addressing replacing recruitment companies by having direct lump sum contracts with cleaners.
